One of my clients wants to have a backdrop at her wedding for funny pictures with the wedding party. Which backdrop (color, size, etc.) + stand do you recommend? I have never had any of them.

You haven't provided any information at would get you a useful answer or recommedation.
Start with how large is the largest group, will there be "actions" or props, facial expressions --- ie funny H&S close-ups, will you/they want to drop images into the background. the list goes on.
Fill in the blanks and you might get some assistance. Good Luck.
