You use Final Cut Pro, correct? I just bought a GH2 a few days ago. Which software do you use to convert MTS files to Quicktime ? I found that MPEG Streamclip doesn't recognize MTS-files..!
Thanks in advance.

John is correct.
I use FCP Log & Transfer to transcode the GH2 video files to Apple ProRes 422

In FCP clip settings, the bitrate for my imported clips (ProRes) is 13,7 Mb/s. I expected to see 24 Mb/s as I shoot in creative mode 24H. Why???

The camera recording data rate is specified by Panansonic to be around 24 Mbps (mega
bits
)
However after transcoding in FCP, the resulting Apple Pro Res file will be in the range of 13.5 MBps (mega
bytes
) - considerably higher and resulting in much bigger files since the economies of AVCHD are gone but which are much easier to edit.
