Sincerely, I think the design of that site does not do justice to the quality off the photographs shown there; I'll start with the header and the horizontal separators, but I think that the visual aspect of that landing page needs a general overhaul.

Just my two cents.

Marek...first..."tip of the hat"...for doing the hard work of going out and shooting... and getting site up and running! Few comments
1.  In art..."red proceeds, blue receeds...".  This is a concept worth considering when you choose banner graphics such as the "www.travelogy.eu" above your slide show.  I find this is very very distracting...while I'm looking at your photos...this blob is always "leaping toward my eyes"...as if to say..."pay attention to me only"...not the wonderful photos.  I think you want people to be concentrating on your photos.  I would consider eliminating the red, elipse blob (your menu text colors are a shade of red too) - consider something that lays back more.
2.  I don't particularly like the "website" as your banner info..  You have a very interesting, and very memorable name...why not put it above the slideshow...and let the viewer constantly connect the moving slide show...with Marek Kubinek?
3. travelogy...sounds like a travel agency to me...
3.  The info below the slideshow is a bit cluttered...but if the banner was better conceived perhaps...then I could live with it.

Good luck with your work, and your site...

I'd have to agree with brandtd's comments. The Photos are great, the site doesn't do it justice.
If you're willing to put some time into the learning curve there's plenty of good free software for sites and photography.
I use Joomla + JAlbum. Both free and have a decent presentation. There is a learning curve though =)

I felt the details around the dates and banners on top especially distracting. I feel sites should be very "clean". My ongoing battle with that can be seen here (not the best example I admit, it's a work in progress =)
