The famous " Bubble-Man" Sterling Johnson, makes the bubbles I make the photographs. None of my encounters with the bubble maker have been planned but I can see the bubbles rising above the horizon near my home and simply follow my nose to their point of origin. Thank you. |

Thanks PopN, word has it...that the bubble makers going to attempt to create the worlds largest bubble in the next few weeks. Local angle: These images were shot in the giant "bike" parking lot on Center Blvd. |

Michael, There's nothing "average" about either photograph. The first one, especially, deserves at least an 11 x 14 print in a 16 x 20 frame and a place to hang on a wall. It's very good abstract art. Don't call the print "soap bubble." Call it something like "Expression 1" and let everybody try to guess what it is.

That image in particular seemed so un-title-able to me, that I couldmt easily come up with a thread title to match the photograph, and so opted for the easy out.

Im leaning towards utilizing the comparison to Glass for one of the images as the shape of that "bubble" does indeed bear an uncanny resemblance to glass. Undulation as a concept could work well also |

Great image! Here's the 'official' recipe - okay, one anyway... Mike. "12 - 16 cups warm water 1 cup Joy or Dawn dish soap 2 tablespoons baking powder (not baking soda) You can substitute our Big Bubble Mix for the baking powder but it's optional.
