Yep - I have been on hiatus from C2PS for a couple of weeks - back at it now until the finish!

Is there perhaps a rollout plan for the rest of the videos?
Any idea when it will be complete?
Thanks, Roy

The plan is as outlined on the product page to publish in segments through the last half of 2011. I'm working on it! Part of the reason for the wait is that I try and release in coherent segments - some longer than others and most of which were not shot in that fashion - the editing does take some time.

Not that Jeff and Michael are incoherent but some gentle massaging with the razor blade does help

Chris, I hope your keeper is delivering regular meals to your cell while you finish the editing. Eric

If memory served, we once let him out of the editing cell for a few hours. But only once.
Seriously though... people have little idea of how time consuming video editing can be. Chris showed me the other day a 90 second video of his that was distilled down from 16 hours of footage. It took two weeks to edit.

I do thoroughly appreciate what you and Jeff and Chris have to do to provide us with these wonderful videos.
The mountain of time and expertise it takes to edit the stuff is one reason I am happy to stick with my old-fashioned way of shooting just one frame at a time.

Hi, I mostly buy the videos for the entertainment value... But I'd say that they should add some of the old stuff as extras: - The interview with Ray Maxwell - Bill Atkinson explaining color management Best regards Erik I do thoroughly appreciate what you and Jeff and Chris have to do to provide us with these wonderful videos.

Thanks very much Chris, Jeff and Michael. Really have enjoyed watching the videos and can't wait for the rest.
I have done some video editing and know how long and tedious it can be. Kind of like woodworking, you can spend more than 4 times the amount sanding the project than you did building to be ready to apply the finish on it.

Wow, you work fast...for me it was always the finish that took forever! Thanks for the kind words....

Hi, Yes I happen to own those. But I don't know if I can find the DVD. But really, I'd say that Bill's enthusiastic explanation... So, when you say 70 percent the first question I ask is 70% of what! What red? This one or this one? He is quite cool. I really think you could include it as an extra. Best regards Erik ...which remain available for a few $

Jeff just had a look at the newly posted work environment segment. That is quite a layout you have there. The shear number of rugged drives you have stacked up in neat rows is amazing. Probably the only thing we have in common is I store mine under the monitors too! I like your back up rig. Do you also have an offsite storage array as well? Or just swap drives?

Chris, Michael & Jeff
I just finished watching the latest video that showed Jeff's work station. Jeff that is one cool setup. One question, are all of those LaCie portable drives on your desk full?
Great job on the videos. Looking forward to the completion of all the rest.
Best,
Stu

Not that I'm aware of...it's really the result of an accumulation of drives of various sizes; two 1TB, four 500GB and four 150GB drives. I really only use those drives for digital capture on location. Currently it's the pair of 1TB drives that I pack for location.

My wife passed by, saw me watching the latest segment, and said "Oh, the cool guys." Maybe Michael and Jeff should include 8X10 autographed glossies in the next download. And someone could nominate Chris as Best Director for the Academy Awards.

Puhleeze do NOT encourage them. And someone could nominate Chris as Best Director for the Academy Awards.
Ahhh, a good editor can make a passable Director look really good
