According to a local reporter, big bend is in bloom with the best bluebonnets in ten years, two to three feet tall. Gerald Raun, A biologist in Alpine, Says the west side of the park is now the best at this time.
The best Bluebonnets, so far, between Terlingua and Lajitas on Farm road 170.
