Hi Darr,
The combination works great. All my old lenses work great, just found camera shake that was ok with film is terrible when shooting digi. Most of the time use tripod and mirror lock-up if below 1/125 sec. My flickr (sailronin) site has a Phase One folder that has a good variety of work with the 501 and P30.

Hey Dave, I will definitely look at your Phase One folder over at flickr. I used Hasselblads for 15+ years when I had a portrait studio. After I retired the portrait studio and went strictly into product/tabletop work, I got rid of my 'blads and used view cameras from then on. Today I shoot with a 6x9 view camera and a P45. Yes, beautiful flower shot from Dave, and on your own thoughts about the 'blads, I miss mine too and consider parting with them the single biggest mistake I made in my professional life! (I made many others, but they had nothing to do with equipment! ;-) ) Rob C |

Hi Eric,
The iris is not stacked, just shot at f22 with a long exposure (no wind at all), I think it was 2 seconds with mirror lock up, but not exactly sure as it was a "bulb" shot. Thank you for the compliment on the iris.

not in the same league as you guys as its the only one i have available as a jpg.
climbed an 80ft Oak tree, attached the tripod. went back for two mornings awaiting some mists.
will return again in the Autumn when the Beech trees should look stunning.
