Open your RCXs, install the update and enjoy!
Oh man, this is really good.
We can do many things, I've just started to play with it but on skin retouch it's so bloody easy to get the look we want.
(can't find where it is in the user guide PDF, though)
Controls are very sensitive, maybe too much, but it's impressive. It's almost like doing retouch in PS but in 2 sec and 3 sliders.

Geez. Make it stop. Too many significant announcements to digest
Isn't there supposed to be something relating to Epic for tomorrow, as well?

There is also a new Avid, seems like a cross between old AVID and FCP X.
We'll see.

I've watched the new Avid videos on the 6 release.
Ups...I'm staying with #5 and wait.

Yeah... Alchemy is what still shooters will want to easily get there R3D's to look as hard as still images. Adds loads of contrast without crushing anything.

Yeah, I find it a clear time saver. Still think that the sliderssss are too nervous or difficult to find the exact point but with a bit of used it's ok.
In general I find the sliders in RCX too short, compare to the Nuke's wivh are more precise but I can't say anything, it's free!
It works well in adding or resting with the 3 combined and it also can softnen skins without compromising details.
It has many used but the contrast is amazing because it really stands still, as you say it doesn't crush.
Now, that said. It's really good, but I'm not sure that I can follow the same emotional crazyness as in Reduser: "A Bomb", the "ultimate", "God gift" etc...
It's a great tool and a time saver.
But that wasn't the tool I was thinking of as they anounced that so relolutionary. Honestly, Jim is great seller. He would sell a pink elephant in Groenlandia.
I was expecting this: a day-night slider. You shoot a night-shot, and with the slider you have a day one perfectly credible. And vice versa! Ok ok...but why not?
