I believe he's offering a partnership where your stake is 49%.

Interesting concept.
So who keeps the equipment?
Who pays for insurance?
Does the 49% mean buyer is the minority partner and the 51% mean you maintain control?
What if we can't agree?
Who pays for repairs if any needed aside from the maintenance agreement.
Who pays for shipping and insurance back and forth between buyer and seller?
What if we both want the back at the same time?
Have you ever done this before?

Maybe you should spell out your plan a little, but seems unworkable especially if not in the same town.

Dennis, I replied to your email address at your website.  Thank you.  Good questions.  Jim

If anyone else wants to read my response to Dennis, email me at phone8453291@me.com ( I believe the forum wishes negotiating information be held away from this thread)

All good points. OP should have specified his/her location; the style/approach leaves me cold. 49%?

But I [phew!] live on another continent!    Grin

I'm the person offering this share of equipment for sale. I'm in Henderson, NV.  I've started a new thread above to discuss this idea.... away from this selling forum.
