GH2 and video sound. This is crazy.

Hello,

I have the GH2 and I'm trying to shoot video with sound. I don't seem to be recording sound in any mode. Does the camera automatically playback a sound track with every video reviewed on camera or is there a sound activation switch somewhere in the menu that I haven't yet been able to locate? Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Well I found them, the sound levels, but very interesting to me, still nothing worked in the way of recording sound, UNTIL THE FLASH IS UP.. Flash up is what activates the recording capability. It makes sense that in a single shooting session one would perhaps like to have the sound off and then on again and it makes sense that one would like to have this on/off capability without diving into the menus but no where that I can find in the IB does it say anything about raising the flash to activate the mic. Crazy! And it took more than a few hours to discover this. Please, someone who owns a GH2 and shoots video speak to this.
