Multiple instances of

Not Found

The requested URL /zencart/pub/.unvsvybsfqzowhrvonih/c2ps-01.zip was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

when I finally managed to get a zip to download its very very slow - 2.5 hours for a single zip

Is this likely to carry on for a long time ?

I recommend waiting two or three days until the feeding frenzy dies down. I do this with LuLa downloads, and the downloads always move much quicker a few days after Chris has made an announcement.

I have all the episodes of Camera to Print and Web except for the final ones announced a day or so ago. I won't start downloading those until the weekend, or even next week.

It will be worth the wait. In the meantime, go out and take some photos.

Yes, the server is bogged down with multiple downloads as a result of the last day of the Sale - our apologies.

As Eric says, it will clear in a day or so. I'd try again tomorrow. The problems of success  Undecided

Hi Chris,

Guess I was just lucky but last night (1/4/12) about 9PM CST I was able to down load the final releases of C2PS without any problem.

Umm,

Tried three times, even after 2.5 hours the zip wouldnt open , incomplete.
I guess I'll just have to wait.

Your success, my problem !

Perhaps some thought should be put into using the e-junkie or the like, they seem to be able to cope better.

My downloads start out quite fast but after the first 20 megs they get slower and slower to the point, where the download fails completely, usually at about 50% of the file. Haven't been able to download a complete zip on several tries on two different days. I had no such problems with the first 31 zips. Just hoping the server load gets a little lower soon...
