I have a Horseman Digiflex II in excellent condition that I would like to sell.  $800 which includes shipping to any US address.

It's everything that would have been in the original kit.  Body, viewfinder, owners manual (wrinkled) front and back caps.  All in all it's about as simple of a camera as can be found, uses 3 CR123 batteries.

Now that I know it has Hassy V mount, I am somewhat interested. Are the image circles of the Nikon F lenses big enough for a CFV-39 back (36x49)?

Oh, it seems like the frame size is fixed at 24x36

The Digiflex crops it to a 35mm full frame out of the full chip area.  It's actually a little bigger due to the distance of the shutter to the chip.

Something like a TrueWide would let the full circle fall on the chip.  Some lenses would cover more than others with a camera like that.

I used the DigiFlex II with a CF39 (amont others). I often let the black edges attached as an artistic thing It can be quite nice. The 'gate' is several mm's larger the 24x36. If you crop the edges off you still end up with a good 20MP file and on occassion if you can stand some fall-off you can get to almost 30MP.

I have used the DFII for years, it was my main workhorse. If you get the hang of focussing and like a simple, reliable camera with only basic controls (I certainly do) it is a very fun thing to use.

My experience is that the wider the lens the less the image circle with these Nikons. Most lenses from 24mm and above have adequate image circle. I have sold my last DF somewhere last year.

Same thing here as well.  It reminds me of the filed out negative carriers and the black ratty borders of a time mostly gone by, though not for a patient few.
