I've posted two of these on another forum, so not truly fresh in my book.  But still happy to share and get feedback.

2)

Hi Jennifer

For me, the first one no; the other two yes!

Why negative about the first? The black just looks like an accidental lump; it simply overwhelms me. By the way, getting down and dirty like that must have serious health significances (shoe-shot).

;-)

I like them all, but #2 is terrific.

#2 is excellent, the man's face and expression towards the middle upper right is captured perfectly. I know this only forms a very small part of the image, but for me it totally makes the image work.

This is the best shot by far, in fact I think it is worthy of a 'Bravo'  Smiley

Just discovered your 'abstracts' - they are beautiful! You should show them here, too.

Was the 3rd shot (here) from Florence?

Love the shoes. The third works, too. The first one doesn't hit me in the solar plexus the way your shots usually do.

You've gotta be willing to take on health risks to shoot on the street.  Grin

Rob, I think I've posted some of the impressionist stuff before, but happy to share some more.  I'm still working on how to effectively use the technique to create unique images.

#2 really strikes me--there is a lot of information and a documentary quality about it--I can keep looking at it and learning something more about it. The other two don't stike me like that.
