Hi Chris, I'm having some trouble unzipping the following files of the new Lightroom 4 video: LR4_04.zip, LR4_05.zip, LR4_06.zip, LR4_08.zip, LR4_10.zip, and LR4_11.zip.
Tried also to re-download, but when I try to unzip (on a Mac, with various unzip software) I get an error...
Any other have this problem?
Thanks! - Marco.

Me too - I've managed to download 1, 2 and 4 but am getting "invalid file" messages for 3, 5 and 6. My problem is on a PC, rather than Mac

It is possible the files are corrupt. I will check and notify here is that is the case.
However, his often happens when the server is extremely busy as is the case right now. It can also happen when more than one file is downloaded at a time.
My suggestion is to wait 'til the feeding frenzy has died down a bit.

I've downloaded Zip 1 and 2. The Please Watch in Zip 1 won't extract and Zip 2 asks for a password. I'm on a Mac with 10.7.3. I downloaded each zip by itself. Thanks.

Yep. I believe that's good advice. I downloaded 8 on my Mac and only 2 could be opened. Since people seems to be having problems with different files, while others can open them, it doesn't seem likely to be a file corruption problem.

Same problem with corrupt files on my Win7 machine. I'll take Chris's suggestion at heart and go download LR4 instead.

I guess the main reason for the corrupted ZIPs is a interrupted/not finished download. Just have a look at the downloaded file's size and the size that is stated in the shop. If they differ, your download did not finish correctly...

Exactly. The server is probably overloaded in several ways and should be (re)configured to allow less download connections. Bandwidth and time is wasted by downloads that don't complete and have to be restarted.

Chris,
Did just fine down loading file until 11,12 & 13. Those would only get so far then just crash (fail). Tried a number of times to down load, however same problem occurs. I assume it could be demand that is overloading the server.
Best,
Stu

Unfortunately the heavy download traffic is the cause of the problems.... BTW we do have a limit on the number of connections (500) - so if you cannot even get to the Store, that is the reason

It does sound like you have some major interest in your videos of LR4 which is great. Will try later on for the other videos. Best, Stu

Can you give us some idea when the lightest times are, if there are any?

I got the first zip file downloaded - can't even access the store page now. But I'm willing to wait. The upgrade download from Adobe worked fine . . .
