That's the motto of the Boy Scouts.

"Be prepared for what?" someone once asked Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting,

"Why, for any old thing." said Baden-Powell.

It certainly applies here.

Lehrer is alive and well (hopefully) in Santa Cruz. He was last seen teaching mathematics at U.C Santa Cruz and spends Hanukkah in Santa Monica and Shavu'ot in Old St. Louis.

I first thought you were incorrect but I was confusing the motto with the oath! A long time ago...
Strangely I was playing some Tom Lehrer the other day. His songs can still be applied to our modern society!! Wake up people!
