I am bring my Nikon D800 over to America for a 7-week photographic tour of the western states. I would like to get a Nikkor 20mm f/2.8D lens for it and, because of the Easter holidays, don't have time to buy one in UK before I leave.

I would like to get one before reaching Grand Teton and Yellowstone on the second stage of my tour.

Does anyone know of a Nikon Dealer in Palm Springs/Grand Canyon/Las Vegas/Cedar City areas that might have one?

Just buy one online and have it delivered a day ahead of you to your motel. I do it all the time when something breaks etc.

I did think of that Kirk.

The problem is that most online retailers will only despatch to a verified Paypal address - and mine is in Scotland!

There's absolutely nothing in the Grand Canyon area. The closest thing to a camera store is (or possibly now was after the bankruptcy) a Kits Camera in Flagstaff.

If you're flying into Phoenix, on the other hand, Tempe Camera is all of five minutes from the airport and usually has a 20mm (and about anything else you could want) on hand.

Otherwise I'd say your best bet's probably going to be in Las Vegas.

There's nothing near Grand Canyon.
Closest for you will probably be Las Vegas.

Don't know if they have it, but I've dealt with B&C Camera before and would recommend them.

Besides B&C you could try Casey's Camera in Las Vegas.
