C1 & Tiffs

Hi,

Load a folder into C1 of 150 tiffs, about 250mb each. C1 crashes, slows all the way down, refuses to render some jpgs out of them. I've heard C1 isn't the best with tiffs, I had wanted to use the excellent jpg rendering engine in C1 which does jpgs at 40% quality far better than PS but it doesn't seem to want to cooperate. Bridge and PS had no problem at all batching them. I7-3930 processor, 16gb ram, SSD drive for the programs and another for the cache, raid 0 working drive, win 7 x64, should be able to cope.

Or should I put in a report to the C1 team?

I wish Phase/C1 would make a Raw tiff to IIQ converter.

I'm having trouble myself, except C1 is rading the RAW TIF files just fine, but LR3 is not.

I would try and see where the TIF format association is. It may have changed or unlinked. Perhaps a reinstall of C1. If not, see in your OS if TIF is OK.
