It would take a brave man or a fool to follow Timo - you decide  Huh

I really liked this the first time I saw it, and I kept coming back to it.

I hope you see something in it too...
Thanks

It's a pretty scene, but for me it's wrecked by the twigs in the foreground; they don't add interest, they just stick into the river and get in the way. I imagine they'd be tricky to clone out. It might be worth a try, though.

Hi Jeremy

Thanks for the comment, they are actually leafless trees down in the river...I don't know if that changes it for you? (I cloned one out on the right-hand side because you could not see the base of the tree - otherwise the others did no worry me.)

No, sadly, it doesn't: it's the sight of them that (for me) spoils the image, not what they actually are.

Hi William,
I like the motion and energy in this. The dead trees provide a bit of punctuation, contrast and interest. And woodpecker habitat. Leave 'em in.

I'm afraid I'm with Jeremy on this one. Maybe from a different angle? I agree that removing the leafless trees from the finished image would be a pain in the neck.

It's a nice sidelight demo. That's about all.
