Yeah--I was wondering. I'm betting it's plastic. Is that a sculpture or person?

He actually looks like a street performer doing a specific routine. It's not levitation, but it is standing up in a very strange way. It might be a puppet or mime routine. He might just be really really wated though, too. The two look quite similar!

There might be two of them.
It's a Spanish thing: el botellón is an affair that happens at weekends when copious quantities of bottles are emptied down throats and the young and free and/or living on loans gather in public places and, in a spirit of huge altruistic joy, conspire to give the town cleaners some little extra overtime the next day.
Hate the smell of pavement pizzas in the morning; best reason I know to stay out of towns.

A very nice set of shots you have there seamus, even though I am definitely not a fan of street miming live statue artists or whatever they are called, but I really like the expressions you have captured in these images and especially the one with the lady trying to take away his bottle, you have really captured them well and I have to agree with Russ "Fascinating". I was in Amsterdam a couple of years back and we walked past a large crowd of people, who were falling about belly laughing at this bloke with a blue head (he must have seen the intel advert), who was just stood there with a completely blue head, no funny expressions, no doing anything amusing in any way at all and the crowd were wetting themselves. Ah I see, so you think she was grabbing for something more intimate and he stopped her by putting the bottle in the way? You have to watch the old 'uns don't you!!! Dave
