Trying to find when to visit Olympia National Park

I've attached a picture taken from the north end of Second Beach - Olympia National Park Washington USA - with the sun shining through Quateata Head Arch.

I'd love to photograph this beach, does anyone know when I should go to photograph the sun in this position. I could contact the N.P but I would better trust the advice of LL forum members. Maybe I could use TPE but I'd still better value local knowledge.

 Might take a bit of fiddling, but Photographer's Ephemeris should do the job for you.

Thanks for the reply I'll try with TPE, I already use it but it's a bit too specific an area to be sure of a correct position/sun angle.

Someone there should have the answer. It's an iconic image that is posted in their galleries on occasion.

NPN looks like a good site but it appears you can't use their forum without being a paid member and I don't particularly like setting up a standing order with a website.

Why the hell would you want to take a photo that's already been taken? Save yourself the time, sell your camera, and buy a print. Jeesh
