Well, the new MacPro RD has dumped the firewire port, so USB 3 is now the only way to attach your IQ DB directly (i.e. without an adapter) to one of these - only problem is, the USB 3 port still isn't enabled.

Just for a bit of fun, when do you think it'll arrive ... we've only been waiting for a year or so (how long?) ... perhaps the guy working on it is also doing the Arca-Swiss (English version) website  Grin

But it does offer Thunderbolt to FW800 adapter

In July I believe - but that's yet another thing to carry, lose, get chewed by the dog - more interested in directly connecting the DB.

You have to wonder why it's taking so long.
