Leica M9 tethered performance

Has anyone used the M9 tethered in Aperture? Anyone know whether it works well and quickly. I hear there is a 5 second lag for a preview to come up. I think I remember it being similar with a 1ds mark 2 in DPP which was quite workable.

I just tried. Each shot does take about 4-5 seconds on the M9 when tethered in Aperture. I tried with my 1Ds Mark III and it takes about 2 seconds per frame. So the M9 is slower… depends on your definition of workable. I don't know that I'd use it for cranky coked-up models that charge $1200/hour :-)
