Perhaps the most wonderful place I have ever stayed is tne Three Chimneys on Skye and the food is unbelievable. The Kinloch Lodge is also marvellous and Lady Claire MacDonald's recipies are exquisite as is her hospitality. If he is still there visit Teo the spinner in Carbost. You might also enjoy the Talisker distillery there. Try not to miss Plockton (great photo opportunities) whrere there are a couple of great pubs for sleeping and especially eating.
Enjoy Skye,

I stayed at the
Picture House
for a week and can recommend it from both the location and service/rates. The
Sligachan Hotel
would be a better situated, but more costly place to stay.

Jeremy - thanks for the plug, much appreciated
I can also give you all the directions to all the best known locations and quite a few of the not so well known locations.
Here is a link to the rooms we have
, room 1 has the best
views of Castle Moil and Lochalsh
My dear wife is also an excellent cook and does an amazing full Scottish breakfast.. yum yum!
