Optimal picture style setting?

Someone told me he always sets his 5DMarkii in-camera picture style to high sharpness (+7) and low contrast (-4). The high sharpness setting is suppose to aid focus judgement off the LCD, and the low contrast is suppose to prevent false clipping warnings. I'm going to try this but am curious if any pros here do the same and if it really helps.

I always use a high sharpness setting for that reason.
Over the years I've learnt roughly how much I can push highlights without any problems, so I leave the contrast setting at the default.
