D800 High Speed Exposure Bracketing

Is there a way to program a D800 so that I can press a button and the D800 will shoot a high speed bracket of three exposures, one at the indicated exposure, one at 2 stops down and one at 2 stops over?

there is a bracket mode. There is high fps  (4fps) setting. and you can use the two together.

But if you mean faster than 4fps, no.

Thanks, Ellis. 4 FPS is ok, but I wonder how you set that up so that you can press a button nad it happens. I don't want to have to go into a series of menu items to set it up each time I use it, and then reverse the changes.

Don't know about the D800 but with the D700 the Depth of Field Preview button can be programmed to shoot the AEB sequence with one press.  Small problem; however, in that the D800, like the D700, is limited to 1 stop spacing.  In order to get the 2 stops you want you're going to need 5 shots.

If you have a remote cord you can do it. I use a MC-36 cord and I'm sure it works with others. I program the bracket and set the release mode dial to continuous high speed. To shoot the bracket I slide the shutter-release button to the hold position. The camera will make all the exposures in the bracket in rapid succession and then stop. To shoot a new bracket take the shutter-release button out of the hold position and repeat.

there is a knob on top of the camera - press it and dial at the same time for

bracketing gaps  (front dial)   0,33 stops 0,67 stops or 1 stop ( no 2 stops sorry)
or
amount of exposures ( rear dial)  2 exposures  -1, 0    or 0, +1   - No bracketing-    3 exposures    -1, 0, +1     5 exp... 7 exp...    9 exp..   

it is quickly done as soon you are familiar with it.. but -2, 0, +2  does not exist-
it will be 5 exposures
