OK, I think this is somewhat unusual. I like it and probably will do more.

Took this back in April but did not have a chance to scan it until now.

Hi Walter, this is from the XPan II, one of my favorite cameras. If I can only keep one camera, it will be between this and my Leica M9 and I think the XPan will win out - may be.

Scanning is through my Nikon LS-9000

Richard, I like the general feel of the picture - but I also find the bottom a bit distracting.  Because of the perspective the girl's forearm is a bit too dominant for me, and her hands are half cropped out - an awkward crop.  If you left the hands in they would appear to big, and if you crop them out you will only get her from the chest up.  So basically I feel the idea is good but you needed a bit more control at the taking stage - if that was possible.

From a strictly compositional point of view, I think this shot has a lot going for it. I like all the horizontal lines as well as the reflections intermingling with the subjects behind the glass.  Unfortunately, I can't find a human anchor in the image. Neither subject is looking towards the camera.  I feel like there is something going on that I can't see and that makes the person in the image inaccessible to me.  The young woman looks a bit guarded.  knees up, no eye contact...tense smile. 

This fabulously composed image doesn't leave me with an entirely satisfactory feeling.  Perhaps that was your design.
