Tipps for Tokyo

I'm currently Planing to extend my work from my exhibition to Tokyo.

I will be in Tokyo from the 6th of November till the 22nd. It looks like a good time to visit Tokyo.

Do any of you guys have some tips on locations ? I'm mainly looking for skyline / cityscape images. However, I'm interested in all places I should have a look at.  I like both low and high vantage points, preferable without any glass windows.

If anybody is from Tokyo or around, let me know I would love to meet up.

Don't get lost in translation.

I visit quite frequently, but won't be there at that time.
As far as city scapes goes, it's not really my thing, but I do a lot of city walking and looking for tighter shots.

Personally, the walk I really like is walking from Roppongi to Shinjuku quite a bit, via Omotesando. Some rather interesting buildings.

Though generally, you can pick pretty much anywhere you like, and you'll probably find something interesting. My suggestion would be don't necessarily avoid the touristy places, but at the same time, don't be afraid to go off map too.

Can try to walk around Shiodome, where you're in between some business building, glass, reflection, foot bridge etc... quiet in the evening to setup your tech cam maybe...

Actually the Park Hyatt's New York Bar, where some of the lost in translation scenes were filmed has good views over the city.
Other places are the skydeck at roppongi hills and I assume the new skytree will have excellent views (have not been to this one).

You must go to the Tsukiji fish market, early in the morning. If only as an act of genuine cultural tourism.Like, quick, low-light camera only.
