A nugget of wisdom and a perfectly valid point. It resonates with another distinction, that painting adds, photography subtracts. It also resonates with the latest research in behavioral economics, that the abundance of choice at some point is more a curse than a blessing.

For anyone unfamiliar with the name, Erwin Puts is one of the most highly regarded independent technical authors on matters Leica, and the author of The Leica Compendium.

Fan Boy? I think not, or on second thought, maybe uber-fan-boy.  In either event, someone to be reckoned with, not put down.

I like simple.

There again the complexity of live-view and an EVF on the Leica M makes it all the more interesting.

Looking forward to Michael's review.
