Hi all,
I have been in Oman recently for a period of 3 weeks, working hard. I had some time over the weekends to go on short trips, and I took some shots with my new little camera (Panasonic LX7). I decided on the small camera, as I was trekking and camping.
First photo is from the village of Wakan, at the beginning of one trekking path. Third photo is from a girl in the village; I was walking by the house, when I noticed that the door was ajar due to the wind. I then heard footsteps, so I figured someone would be coming to close the door. So I readied the camera and shot when the girl showed up.
Second photo is from the beach in Seifa.

I like the middle, b&w one. The sky is impressive and just as impressive is the fact that nothing appears blown. Good shot!

Thanks all for the nice comments. Indeed the sky in #2 was really dramatic, storm clouds just piling up against the mountain.
As for the #1, indeed golden hour it would be nice; this was around 9 am. However, this "bowl" at golden hour times is in the shade, so...
