Does the Personal Message board time out if left open too long? I spent some time (admittedly while intermittently watching a TV program) drafting a message and when I hit "Send Message" I was taken to a log in screen, which advised I had to be logged in to be in Personal Messages. I re-logged in but discovered my message had disappeared and had not been sent. Does this also mean the message was deleted?

Hi,
Quite a lot of sites do that. If I'm writing a long mesage I highlight it and then use Ctrl+C to copy it, then if I took too long I can log back in and use Ctrl+V to paste it. Mac is probably different.

That's a standard function of website software.  You have several minutes, long enough fro any normal post to be made.
