Anyone else haveing spotting tool issues with C1-7?

While I still say WOW to C1-7, I'm having issues with the spotting tool.

I have two separately downloaded (different key codes) applications on 4 computers and on both applications I'm having problems with erratic behavior of the spot tool.  It often only lightens the spot and other times it will work fine, but then just not do anything--not even place the target circle on the screen. I'm using each application of C1-7 on two separate MacPros, using system  OSx10.7.5 on one and OSx10.6.8 on the other.  Each application spotting tool is set on Spot not dust.

Anyone else experiencing this problem or am I missing something?

Yes, I have seen the same thing and reported it back to Phase One during the beta.  The spot tool has a tendency to make a lighter halo sometimes where the edge of the spot was.  I also have seen this sometimes with a LCC processed with dust removal.
