In the Western part of Fukushima prefecture lies one of my all time favorite places in Japan, called Urabandai. The good people living there have unfortunately been badly hit by the whole Fukushima thing although the level of radiation in the area is lower then the one found in most large European cities. So the least I can do is a bit of advertising for the beauty of the place...  Stitch from D800 and Leica 280 f4 APO. Cheers, Bernard |

Good morning Bernard,
Cannot know of course how you are using this wonderful image or at what dimensions, but find myself each time revisiting either toning or removing (toning my preference) the indicated spec highlight. Somehow the light in the trees begins to sing once removing that point of opposing energy... would appreciate your sense of this...thank you.

Very beautiful, Bernard: your liking for the place shines through. I wholly agree with Pat about that one highlight, though: once seen, it really attracts attention.

Very nice image Bernard. I bet it looks even better in large format print! Nice pano rig too. I have just bought a 180/3.4 Telyt APO, waiting for conversion. Will be interested to see how it perfoms on the 800e as a pano combo. Might unseat my current favourite pano combo of Nex7 and Leitz 135/F4!
