I was tempted to complain that the colors hurt my eyes -- but happily I took an extra step, explicitly downloaded the image and checked the colors look fine outside a web browser ;-)

The light was really intense. I even desaturated and darken the trees. As you said it hurt my eyes. It is what it is!

Astonishing colours indeed. The horizon does appear to slope down to the right, though.
