Yeah, the pre flash is to reduce the contrast some. I'm just using it straight but I like the contrast.

Fred,
Love your 8x10 images. Many years ago I used to shoot with a Toyo 810M and 360mm Goertz Dagor and drum process the negatives in Pyro to help preserve highlights. A couple of samples are attached.
I would like to find out more about the paper negatives that you are using. Any links or resources would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Richard

ISO for paper goes from about 6 to 20 depending on the paper and batch. Being that it is for printing ISO
can fluctuate a bit. Best to test each batch.

I use ISO 3 for the paper, but it probably depends on what you buy.

Fred and Eric, thanks! I'm going to try the paper negs and some Ilford paper positives.
Fred, you have a Toyo G? How is it weight wise versus, say a Sinar P with an 810 back? The Sinar is a bear to move around.

Fred- have you considered one of the new GoPro units? They have Wifi to broadcast Live View to a phone or a tablet. Lens is full of distortion, but replacments can be had I hear.
