Higgar Tor is a superb Gritstone outcome in the Peak District National Park England, this was shot on a bitterly cold dawn in Jan 2012, so cold the metal connector of my cable release snapped off...thanks Shaun Higgar Tor...winter dawn by Shaunwalby Photography, on Flickr

Very nice indeed, Shaun. In fact, from the comfort of my centrally-heated house I'd say it was worth every moment of your standing in the cold. Jeremy

This is for that kind of images that I could stand in the cold for hours…
Well done, very soft and relaxing atmosphere.

The frosty rocks and their colour evoke the temperature effectively. The warm colour of the clouds hints at respite from the chill. Nice story.

That's a stunner, Shaun. One of those rare shots that actually made me gasp when I first saw it. Pure landscape photography at it's best with excellent PP that's not been too overdone.
