This is a fabulous "no-subject" image. I am not saying "no-subject" to be condescending. I am referring to the kind of image that conveys a places mood and environment without a clear focal-point. They are hard to execute, but this one does it really well. Really nice details and wonderfully complex backdrop.

Missed this one earlier. Very nice, Chris. I suspect B&W was the right choice. It would be interesting to see the original color version.

Yes, nothing is dominating the image and it's a wonderful scene. B/W is perfect…

Thanks everyone. I will respond more in depth when I return from my trip to the Caribbean and my supposed end of the world excursion through the mayan ruins...at the main site I heard there were over a quarter of a million visitors...my site only had eight or nine thousand...I didn't go. Rough seas, foreboding rain, huge crowds, long line waits and the fact they wouldn't let me take anything but a point and shoot....oh well, another time.
This barge is way too big to be floating...pictures to come. Tata, til then.
