You are getting good at this impossibly ambitious scene.  This is the best fore ground I can remember.        Nevertheless, at the risk of seeming glib, I suggest, instead of darkening the wood where it is against the sky, color it a fairly saturated international orange there.  As it is, the darkened wood is making it difficult for the space behind to recede to the appropriately cosmic dimensions.
