A user on an Italian photo forum was wondering why he was getting significantly different clipping point and histogram between Aperture and Lightroom.  He posted screen shots where one can see the difference as well as the camera histogram and color space.  No need to translate as the screenshots says it all:

I don't know much about Aperture, but I was surprised by how much the highlights were clipped in Aperture. I am curious to understand what is the cause of the difference.  It almost looks like Aperture is building the histogram from an sRGB  Shocked  Or could it be different default settings and no highlight recovery?
