I like how the interplay of lines and shadows keeps the eye engaged.

A quick glance belies just how good this image is. Near and far, light and shade, detail and haze - how you managed to get all of this into one very fine composition I don't know. Well done Jeremy.

One of the best I have seen of this type of canyon locations. Going from a dark foreground to the light background has been nicely portrayed. Very likeable.

The white balance on the foreground seems a bit warmer than the background light. I suppose that is from the haze?
A lovely shot anyways. Nice work.

A truly wonderful photograph: lovely composition, expressive tones, and something more that I can't explain. It has that extra touch that makes it stand out from the millions of Grand Canyon photos that I've seen and makes me want to look at it again.

This is very very good, yes.
Not many images improve this much going from the thumbnail to the full sized image! I tend to judge by thumbnails, feeling that a really good image should still be good as a thumbnail. This one isn't. It is, nonetheless, an outstanding image once you make it big! I assume it's truly spectacular in an actual large print, but it's excellent even on the web.
