Harman Gloss Baryta replacement that is thinner

I love this paper but it's so thick that I can't fit as many prints in my portfolio as I'd like (320g at A3 size). Does anyone know of a similar performing paper that is a slightly lighter paper weight? I hate the Epson premium glossy as it's so blue and anaemic looking. I want a true white paper, not warm but not cool. Because these prints will be under plastic sheets exact surface finish isn't so important but obviously dmax and colour and base colour is. Ideas??

See if you can find the Canson Baryta in a thinner sheet. I believe most of the good fiber gloss papers are the same weight though. Problem is if they go thinner then you will really have curling even in sheet form. These papers in roll form are completely driving me nuts. They have got to find a way of keeping these from curling so much or people are just going to quit buying them in the roll sizes. It's a huge expensive waste of scratched paper.

I use the HP Advanced as the proofing alternative to the harman gloss baryta. It is close and less weight and about 40% of the cost. I print on Epson 4900 by the way. Perhaps this is an alternative for you?

The Moab Colorado Fiber Gloss is 245 grams, Alpha Cellulose too and a slightly cooler paper.

Another approach could be a dual sided paper but there are no gloss fiber qualities like that. Ilford Galerie Prestige Smooth Lustre Duo 280gsm is an RC paper also slightly cooler than the Harman. You would reduce the total pages thickness by 60% and the pages stay plane.

What I really wish is that Canson would put some of their non-oba pigment brighteners in the Canson Platine. If it were just a little less warm I'd be using that.
