This is a lovely little area just outside of Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies.  We often seem to end up there in the winter and this was a very cool afternoon at -20C.  However, there are some warm springs just upstream that keep the water open.

Thanks Scott.

Shaun, the softness is all in the jpeg conversion (and I guess the size) It is crystal sharp on the screen from the little snow-covered tree top up close out to the mountain.  The image ( I forgot to say) is a composite of 25 different shots stitched and blended. Focus was done with hyperfocal focussing rather than focus blending (and it was cold enough I didn't want to put the T/S on!).  I really should have uploaded a bigger image - my apologies.
