I have read Michael's review of the canons sx50 and I was ready to press the buy button in Amazon. I then thought about compatibility with Lightroom 4.3 which I have. The latest update lists the canon BUT my Photoshop version is CS5. I looked at the Adobe site for an answer but I couldn't figure it out. Am I correct in stating that I can't import the cr2 files into LR and out put them into CS5? TIA

You can always do that with LR rendering.
