I want a 6x9 camera and a polaroid back. These cameras were selling for under $200, but I can't find a kit for under $500 now.
Any advice?

Yep since the impossible project revived this part of photography the prices went through the roof. Depending on what you want to do, I would consider building a camera on your own. The easiest way would be a pinhole camera with a cheap shutter in front.
Just an idea because the prices for real polaroid cameras will keep rising.

that actually isn't that bad of an idea. I really just want to be able to shoot 6x9 polaroids and these are the only 2 cameras that I saw with support.

side story: I was out with my 3-year old and Nikon F5/Nikon D4/D3/D7000 and I showed him how I loaded film into the F5 before going on to the beach at Plum Island, Newburyport. He then kept asking how do I put film in the D4.
"But papa, you can put film in if you want, right?"
Seems backwards now a days.
