So many options these days. The mind begins to boggle.
just look for the biggest sensor for the smallest price :-/

There's also the Fuji cameras (X-Pro1/X-E1) to make your choices more complicated. If you use RAW or the recent C1 version I'd wager you get files that are at least as detailed as the NEX-7.

The fuji options are tough because currently raw conversion is still lacking even with the new c1. It's a tough call because what if thats as good as it gets?

Very true. I actually like the C1 raw output and as you also mentioned this might be as good as it'll get. That said I'd wager the images out of a good C1 conversion still hold up pretty well to a lot of other systems including the NEX.

It's not an earth shattering shot but personally I find it gives quite a good amount of fine details.
