Problems with H2 and Aptus 65 in tethered mode

Hi,

I just switched from my RZ to an H2 system and had my first testshoot yesterday. With CF cards everything works great, but I wasn't able to tether the back. Connected the back to C1, software seems fine, back seems ready, but the H2 sends an error message on pressing the shutter, saying not enough power on the back. Tried different Mac books (all wired) and the mac pro, new firewire cable, went to Leaf Capture, switched everything on/off, rebooted, disconnected the back - no chance.

I will anyway check the local leaf and hasselblad support on monday, but maybe some of you have had experiences in the past, that could speed things up in trouble shooting. I'm thinking about firmware, or contact problems.

Marcel, please make sure that the correct camera type is selected in the Capture Preferences in Capture One (and in Camera Settings in Leaf Capture) before you connect the back

You've made my day, Yair - thanks a lot. it still was set to the RZ, hadn't noticed that.

May I bother you with another question: for my new macbook - should I use an adapter from FW400 to 800, or is there a special leaf cable, that I should use?

You can try an adapter but I would recommend getting a Leaf cable (part number 220-03210A) through one of our partners
