Here is a topic about our friends the trees. Some may say "there is already an another thread somewhere in the forum" but I find this other topic not as visible as I wish, thus... this thread. Before all, pardon my " miserable" contribution

Here is a thread about trees, she is open so post a much as you want, share what you captured around the world.
I like your tree but I don't like the blurred thing in the middle of the frame, poking me in the eye. Jeremy

Hello Chairman Bill, I think this thread is ok here. The other is too buried inside the forum I think "trees" deserve the right to be in the "nature and Landscape" forum. I like your tree but I don't like the blurred thing in the middle of the frame, poking me in the eye.
Jeremy
Hello Jeremy, Yes, me too. It is the face of a large branch cut; had no way to get around.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained by having parallel threads, especially when the OP photograph is such a miserable representation of the theme.

Hello Chairman Bill, I think this thread is ok here. The other is too buried inside the forum Use the search function, type in 'trees', et voila!

Ok, this thread has me looking over my old folders...four more "trees" that I haven't looked at in a while. Each has its own "personality" of course.

I'll play. Here are four. The first two are the same location on different days. They're from the top of Mt Scott in the Wichita Mountains of SW Oklahoma. #3 is from Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and the last one is near my house in central Oklahoma.

Andy, I like the first very much. The second has an air of unreality about it which is disturbing. Jeremy

Very, very, very high level, really a feast for the eye. P.S. Perhaps in the third one I'd like a bit more space under the tree.
