I just imported about 10 000 images into a catalog.
About 150 images before import was completed, Capture One Pro 7.0.2 crashed.
The catalog is corrupted, all image names are gone.
1. How can I get rid of the corrupted catalog and build a new one
2. Is 10 000 images too much for Capture One Pro7.0.2. ?
No, 10,000 images is certainly not too much.
Where you importing them inside the Catalog file itself? (Option Inside Catalog
in the import window) or leaving them in their current location. If it was the first option, did you have enough disk space?
In either case, you can simply delete the .cocatalog file and try again.
However, we would certainly like to know why the crash happened and probably take a look at the .cocatalog file, so please keep a copy of it for us!
