A few weeks ago we had fresh snow falling in Hangzhou which is 2hrs south of Shanghai. It's not often that it snows in this part of the country so it's a nice change to the usual colour of the landscape. It also makes it feel clean  

Shot with the RX100. The first image was taken from the window of the high speed train from Shanghai at 250km/hr. I cranked up the iso to 1600iso so that I could have a high enough shutter speed. Apart from cropping very little retouching was done to these images.

3934 speaks to me. Leading lines of the road up to the arch, placed close to rule of thirds. Esthetically, the near monochrome with the subtle accents of brown, red, and yellow tone create a terrific mood. I'd call it "The path to abandonment!" Only suggestion I might make would be to crop a little in from the right although you've got a nice "reverse S curve" going with that road! Thanks for sharing these.

Appreciate all the feedback. I had wished in hindsight that I had left a bit more breathing room on the right of the red post (last image) as I don't feel that the three bare trees on the left have enough visual weight to balance the scene.

The first image is striking and gets me hooked into it right off the bat. It makes a good use of symmetry and the fade back is exquisite. Nice tones and the water is very inky looking. I don't know if the brown bridge is real or colored in, but if it is the latter, that will become a cliched look very soon, I would think. Minor point. I enjoyed looking around in the picture.
