Great shot. Ghostly figure that would be more scary if you didn't know what it is. Nicely done.

Since I was a Sherlock Holmes fan when I was in high school I read everything Conan Doyle wrote, including "The Case For Spirit Photography." As I recall, there were pictures like this in that book. Actually, Doyle was right: a camera can pick up ghosts, but they're not the "spirit" kind. Holmes blew it that time.

Find myself consistently drawn to these gifts, Dave, which insert themselves into our "time and light " play with captures. Found myself enjoying some of the same yesterday in front driven snow...had not been my intent but they kept inserting themselves in place of my intent... That was a nice bit of recall Russ with the memory of "spirit" and camera...

I'm all in favor of more Spirit in our photography, and less talk of Technology.
My best photos also tend to come when something I never intended gets in the way.
Bravo!

This is a lot of fun to look at. You get a big burst of emotion the second you look at it. And it is really well executed and cleanly done. We can't resist the human form even in very abstract presentation. You can't look at this and not feel something!
