This is a good idea for a photograph. But it may lack punch (dynamics) or anything intriguing. Yes, viewing people this way might be very interesting, if they were a bit more engaged. Notice everyone is at rest. It makes the whole photo static, and yet with no point of high interest. Suppose one person was naked, or shirtless? Or suppose one was moving through the scene in a blur? Or suppose all wore white, but one was red? And so on. Good idea, but the subject didn't cooperate with your idea!

Looks like a picture taken from a second-story window at a family gathering. A picture for pleasant memories but certainly not street.

The right half of the picture, cropped out by itself, is more like street. You have the sight-lines in play, but you can't see where they go. Having them all terminate on the one pleasant looking woman who is looking back resolves the story completely -- it's a group of people standing around having a conversation.

Sight lines are good, but there should be some sort of tension or ambiguity indicated by them, to my way of thinking, if you want street.

So you say if I split the picture in half it would be better? See below. Not so sure, they seem out of balance?!

While it is probably just a conversation what I liked about it was the postures of the different people involved in it, with the left lower lady with her hands on her hips - maybe argumentative?, with the left lady (with the camera) not being really involved in the discussion despite being almost in the middle of it and with the right guy with his hands crossed - defensive?, kind of opposite with the lady with the hands on her hips.
